IAH Goals
Over five years, we will build the Healthy Andean Territories Initiative through a participatory process that empowers communities to monitor the quality of their natural resources, understand the environmental risks affecting their health, and take informed action. We will strengthen and expand the existing Community Local Information System (SILC) in Pedro Moncayo into a powerful digital platform that connects community knowledge, environmental monitoring, and scientific evidence. This knowledge will support healthier agricultural practices and foster new productive processes that protect the environment, improve livelihoods, and ultimately enhance the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of Andean communities.
Our ultimate objective is to provide self-supporting solutions with a strong
focus on education, sustainable construction, and the use of local materials to ensure lasting progress.
